10 games hopefully coming in 2021!

2020 was not only filled with games, but also packed with announcements. Unfortunately, not all games got a release date and there are still a lot of games that we have to hope will be released in 2021.

Perfect Dark

The game that was suddenly announced during the Game Awards and that has been speculated about for a long time. With a new studio at the helm, it remains exciting, of course, but we are very curious about the new adventure of Joanna Dark.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild sequel

This game was announced a year and a half ago, but seems to have disappeared from the face of the earth after that. Still, it seems to us that the development of this game does not take as much time as the original. After all, it uses the same world. In any case, it is a game that we hope to see / hear more from in 2021! In addition, 2021 will be the 35th anniversary of this series and what better way to celebrate this than with a brand new game ?!

Metroid Prime 4

Nearly three years ago, Nintendo announced that this game will no longer be developed by Bandai Namco, but by Retro Studios. Yet it has also been very quiet around this Nintendo game. Nintendo initially seemed to be releasing a remake / remaster of the trilogy, but it didn’t come either. Samus can also blow out 35 candles in 2021, so bring the trade!

Fable

This one just seems too good to be true, but hope is always possible, right. During the announcement, it was noticed that this game may not come to the Xbox One and since Microsoft has announced that it will continue to support that console for the first 2 years, there is little chance that we will see this game in 2021 …

Dying Light 2

Techland is slowly gaining a reputation for off-the-radar games. Dead Island 2 is such a game (which is no longer made by them), but Dying Light 2 also seems to be going through the same phase. Although we had an extensive preview of it during Gamescom last year .. ‘

Elden Ring

From Software is not exactly in the pulpit when it comes to Elden Ring. The game was announced during E3 2019, but we haven’t actually heard anything from this game after that. This may change in 2021, but whether a release will be in 2021 remains a big question mark.

Bayonetta 3

Nintendo and Microsoft are the purveyors of this list, but they have really called that over themselves. After all, Bayonetta 3 was announced over three years ago and this year we only got to hear that this game is still in development. It’s just time for a release date now, right?

Dead Island 2

This game has already had several developers and that is the only thing we hear about it in terms of news. It could just be that somewhere in 2021 it will be announced that this game will suddenly be released, but it could also be that we hear little about it this year or that it has ended up on the shelf …

God of War Ragnarok

Yes it’s in another top 10 for 2020 as well, but it’s a game that some of the editors won’t be surprised if it doesn’t come in 2020. Isn’t it almost standard that a God of War game is postponed at least once ?!

Forza Motorsport

This has not been confirmed for 2021, but it seemed to us that it was more than logical that it would appear next year. After all, we haven’t had a new Forza in two years. Although there has been speculation that a new Horizon may come first, although that seems a bit far-fetched to us!
