Apex Legends PS5 release nears as ESRB, PEGI ratings appear online

Apex Legends for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S is definitely just around the corner, as two new reviews for the battle royale title for next-generation consoles have surfaced online via PEGI and the ESRB.

This follows yesterday’s review that appeared in Taiwan, which certainly means Respawn is ready to lift the lid on the revamped version of its flagship battle royale title. It’s also worth remembering that the studio said news about the PS5 and Xbox Series X/S editions of Apex Legends would be coming “very, very soon.”

Interestingly, the ESRB listing only includes the PS5 edition of the game, although PEGI includes both Sony and Microsoft consoles. Here’s a brief description:

Apex is a cooperative shooter and battle royale style online game. Users can form small squads consisting of up to 3 players. Matches are limited to 60 players. Players of the same squad team up to defeat the other squads.
