Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Dawn of Ragnarok Expansion Arriving in March

The sooner Assassin’s Creed Valhalla upcoming content livestream delivered the goods as promised. As well as confirming the existence of the leaked Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Dawn of Ragnarok expansion, it announced crossover stories between Walhalla and Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. While Dawn of Ragnarok will not arrive until March 2022, the crossover stories will be released tomorrow, December 14.

Valhalla’s Eivor had already traveled to Asgard when he relived his past life as the Norse god Odin. Dawn of Ragnarok will once again put players in the shoes of Odin as he fights a new threat to Asgard. The ice giants of Jotunheim cause trouble again and have kidnapped Odin’s son Baldr. The bigger problem, however, is that they team up with the Muspelheim demons controlled by Odin’s greatest nemesis Surtr, and he has pushed the world’s greatest craftsmen into exile. To give Odin a chance to save his kingdom, he must reach Svartleheim and ask the Dwarves for help.

The combat has evolved in such a way that Odin can defeat his enemies. He’ll need to find the Hugr-Rip bracer so he can combine the franchise’s traditional stealth combat with more physical and brutal moves. These include new divine powers he can acquire from his enemies, such as a shape-shifting ability to turn into a raven and stalk enemies. There will also be a new weapon class “with a specific combo system”.

The new expansion will add approximately 35 hours of gameplay and will also include the Trials of the Valkyrie, a new arena to test your skills and earn new loot for both Odin and Eivor. There will also be additional knowledge including how Thor’s armor and the Excalibur sword were forged ancient artifacts. As a previous leak revealed, the expansion will be released on March 10, 2022.

Before that, rumors of new DLC coming this month were also true. the free one Assassin’s Creed Crossover Stories starting tomorrow, December 14, when Ubisoft brings together Assassin’s Creed Odyssey and Walhalla. odyssey players can take on the new “Those Who Are Treasured” quest that takes place after the events of the main story. Regardless of whether players have taken on the role of Kassandra or Alexios, their character takes a break from the battlefield. However, an old friend comes to visit and urges them to find an Isu artifact that could change the world.

The mission icon and log will automatically appear on the game map in Sami’s Port on the island of Kephallonia after completing the Family, Cult of Kosmos, and Mythology questline. However, those who have completed Chapter 1 and reached Megaris may accidentally find the quest giver early. Since the new quest contains spoilers for the main game, players are encouraged not to interact with it until after completing the three main quests. Completing the quest will reward you Walhallathemed rewards.

The story then continues in Walhalla when, 1,300 years later, Cassandra visits the Isle of Skye thanks to her immortality. In this quest titled “A Fateful Encounter”, she meets Eivor and the two find themselves in battle as they work out their differences. To start this quest, players must have upgraded their settlement to level 4 and completed the “A Wise Friend” quest. This time, completing the quest will be rewarded odysseythemed rewards.

Both DLCs are part of a second year of content for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla that includes both free and premium DLC. While the crossover stories will be free, no price is known for Dawn of Ragnarok.
