Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is getting another update on PS5 and PS4 soon. The main purpose of the patch is to add support for the upcoming Dawn of Ragnarok expansion, but it also introduces a new Saga difficulty setting where stealth and combat are less challenging.
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Update 1.5.0 Patch Notes
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Update 1.5.0 will be released tomorrow, February 22 at 7:00 AM EST. One of the main goals of the update is to add support for Dawn of Ragnarok, which comes out on March 10. With a new storyline leading to the world of Svartalfheim, players can use new shape-shifting powers, four additional abilities, six new abilities, additional weapons and armor sets, and a brand new divine quality for gear and weapons. Players can start using the new content at any time. Those not at Power Level 340 or above will be boosted to that level and have access to predefined gear and weapons.
The update also introduces Saga Difficulty mode, which is considered the game’s story mode, allowing players to focus on the story without having to think about stealth and combat. This means enemies deal less damage and don’t scale in difficulty with players. Players also get more time to perform actions after being detected in stealth. In addition to the new difficulty setting, there are several new battle settings that can be customized to a player’s experience.
Other improvements include tweaks to stealth gameplay and a host of bug fixes and gameplay improvements. You can find a full list of patch notes at: Ubisoft’s website†
