Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Update 1.5.0 fixes a wealth of issues for graphics, missions, stealth, and more

  • AI response to whistle improved.
  • Players are detected by enemies when using environmental traps.
  • Wild animals detect Eivor regardless of distance/angle and warn nearby NPCs.
  • NPCs that break free from conflict extremely quickly.
  • Reduce enemy detection cones when using a bow.
  • Monks struggling to leave the music stations in the Taken (Kidnap Estrid) quest.


  • added a Saga Difficulty Level: Write your own Viking Saga without worrying about the challenges of stealth and combat.
    • Combat: Enemies deal less damage and don’t scale with players.
    • Stealth: More time to perform actions when detected (kill, shoot, take out, etc.).
  • Added new battle settings.

  • Eivor is randomly teleported in some cases.

  • Players can get stuck in any Boss fight if Dive of the Valkyries is used as a final hit while the Night Rogue set is equipped.
  • PC players lose all input after pressing the ; key on their keyboard.
  • Light Fingered ability is not activated when dodging by a lootable body.
  • Can’t beat the Black Shuck Alpha Animal because the ending QTE doesn’t appear.
  • Enemy’s attacks become weaker when the Combat Difficulty value is set to Custom.
  • Can’t use the fishing line.
  • Can’t use rations.
  • Several option changes made in the pause menu were not applied.
  • Hero stats were not updated correctly when equipping the Arenhare’ko:wa gear set.
  • Pretend that the kill ability is not working properly when used on specific terrain or on specific objects.
  • Eivor’s bow disappears when using the Goule Breath.
  • Mouse and keyboard icons remain visible despite adding a controller.
  • Wrath of the Druids: Enemies in Dublin and Meath areas do not scale with Eivor’s Power Level after changing the level scaling options.
  • The Siege of Paris: In some cases, keyboard input is displayed while using a controller.



  • Dag is not present near the longhouse making it impossible to complete A Brewing Storm.
  • Unable to advance the lost prince as the assassination clues do not appear during the training sequence.
  • Unable to collect the Offchurch Key during the Tilting the Balance quest.
  • Can’t kill Gorm in Hunter of Beasts.
  • Missing mission marker in Closing the Vault after following Ljufvina.
  • The Forge and the Flame quest could not be completed because no cutscene would be triggered.
  • Unable to complete Pilgrimage to St. Albania as players are unable to interact with Fulke.
  • Unable to kill the Pict Chief during the Old Friends quest.
  • Can’t go further in Road to Hamartia because Beonton the dog is trapped.
  • Unable to communicate with Ivarr during King Killer.
  • Unable to complete A Feast to Remember after defeating Suttungr.
  • Cannot continue in Abbots Gambit with target Find Fulke and Sigurd
  • Can’t complete This Son of Jorvik because Faravid won’t get on his horse.
  • Old wounds cannot be completed because Rollo is trapped outside his camp.
  • Guards are trapped in the brothel in Old Wounds.
  • Unable to complete King of Shitsby World Event due to NPC spawning outside the church.
  • Deviled Water World Event cannot be completed because NPC is stuck in the river.
  • Haunting of Neist Point and The Drink of the Picts world events cannot be completed if a meditation is performed during the dialogue scene.
  • The NPC does not appear in the camp in the World Event The Twit Saga Part 2.
  • The Siege of Paris: Siegfried does not move in Warlord of Melun.
  • Wrath of the Druids: Barid and Ciara are not going to the coronation for Flann over Ireland.



  • A fateful encounter does not update after completing A Wise Friend and building Valka’s Hut.
  • The temple can be opened by throwing a brazier at the door in What Dream May Come.
  • What To dream The May Come quest will not be updated after exploring the Golden Grotto if the objective is achieved after reaching a conflict situation.
  • After completing What Dreams May Come, enemy villagers can once again be found at the light puzzle in the Cave of Gold.
  • Two of the five Shards remain marked on the map when collected in Counting Sheep.
  • Cassandra’s voice does not match in a segment of the Dialogue Scene in Night and Day.



  • Extended loading times at the transition from River Raids to the Ravensthorpe.


  • Can’t progress in A Challenge From the Gods after the first cutscene.
  • Enemies are not marked when using Odin Sight in Odin Mine Hideout.
  • Goliath NPC can throw the boar outside the arena, making it impossible to complete the Outpost Fight Challenge.
  • NPCs are killed in the Lolingestone bandit camp.



  • Platforms that descend before the push/pull object is on them.
  • Portable snaps in Eivor’s hands as they are thrown behind the spike wall in Swamp tomb.
  • Several issues where Eivor would get stuck in a free fall animation and/or get out of sync.



  • Wrong gameplay options present in Discovery Tour: Viking Age menu.
  • Online service error (0x20100302) when viewing photos on world map.
  • Murder movies still play when photo mode is activated.
  • Horses can photobomb dialogue scenes.
  • Achievements/trophies are not unlocked after playing AC Crossover stories when sharing progress across multiple platforms.



  • Meteorites not spawned in England.
  • Store items that disappear from inventory or are not visible on Eivor.
  • Smoke bombs do not explode when returned to the enemy with the ability to reverse missiles.
  • Instances of misplaced or floating objects or textures.
  • Plenty of cutting issues.
  • Numerous problems with graphics, texture, animation or lighting.
  • Several issues with missing SFX.
  • Numerous problems with menu narration.
