Assassins Creed Valhalla’s New Update 1.4.1 Reduces Game File Size

The file size of games should get smaller, and this is a rare case where they actually get smaller. Ubisoft will release a new title update for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla making the game size smaller PS5 and PS4.

The update arriving next week will see the game through a data restructuring. This is exactly what it sounds like as the game will be restructured from top to bottom. Not only will this process reduce the file size for the game, but this update also comes with performance improvements across the board.

Unfortunately, this update may take a while to complete depending on your internet connection. For the restructuring to take place, part of this process is to delete and re-download Assassin’s Creed Valhalla that will happen within the update.

So don’t be alarmed if it seems to be a very big update, it’s just download the game again. You can see the full list of file sizes after the update and rebase yourself here:
