Battlefield 2042 launching the game will have seen a surprise. The game’s Conquest and Breakthrough modes can be played on PC and next-gen consoles with 64 players.
DICE has made a new playlist update for the game. The developer had previously announced this and is now available. This temporarily ensures that the Breakthrough and Conquest modes of the game can be played on PC and new consoles with 64 players.
Incidentally, this is only special on those platforms, since the last-gen version already set this as the maximum number of players. On the PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series consoles, the maximum number of players for these modes was fixed at 128 people.
We don’t know until when players can do it with fewer opponents, but given the popularity of the temporary Rush modes, it is likely that DICE will respond to this more often.
