Battlefield 2042 Update 3.2 Patch Notes Released

DICE rolled out Battlefield 2042 update 3.2 today, focusing on minor fixes and improvements, including rubberbanding issues and XP changes in Battlefield Portal. Some of the most requested changes, such as the revamped scoreboard, are coming in the relatively substantial update 3.3 in February. However, VOIP for all platforms is something DICE is still investigating, so it has nothing to share at the moment.

Battlefield 2042 Update 3.2 Highlights

DICE has fixed a “rare” hit registration issue with Sundance’s hitbox, addressed players who got stuck when under fire from explosions, and fixed rubber tires that occurred after friendlies. The update also fixed an issue that caused the game to freeze when exiting a party during matchmaking.

In Battlefield Portal, the server information tab now stays in place when players refresh the server browser. In addition, some admin commands can no longer be spammed and the Rules Editor now works correctly with melee weapons.

“Our teams continue to analyze the data available to us and develop further optimizations that allow the game to make the most of your hardware,” DICE wrote. “In each update, we will make changes big and small that aim to address the issues and improve your experience.”
