Actor Bradley Cooper was about to take a break in his career, but a movie convinced him to move on.
Bradley Cooper just released the alley of lost souls from William of the Bull but it will also return as Rocket Raccoon to Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 (2023). Now, he has revealed the film that has given him the strength not to give up acting.
“The reason I didn’t stop acting is Paul Thomas Anderson. When he called me to maybe be in his movie, I mean really, I think it would open a door in his movie. I would do anything. We came out of Alley of Lost Souls, I was able to grow a beard, and Searchlight was praying that I didn’t get COVID, because we had to go back and continue production, but I was like: There’s no way I’m not doing it. . That was the first movie to come back from COVID. And my character named Jon Peters shows up at the beginning of the movie, so I started with everyone else, which was wonderful, instead of going in when everyone was already down the river. I spent three and a half weeks with Paul Thomas Anderson. I saw all the camera tests. He was teaching me all about lenses, things I never knew. He is incredible”.
The movie you are referring to is Licorice Pizza.
Bradley Cooper plays the movie producer Jon Peters in Licorice Pizza from Paul Thomas Anderson. The film is about Alana Kane and Gary Valentine growing up, exploring and traversing the treacherous path of first love in the San Fernando Valley in 1973.
Thanks to Paul Thomas Anderson, the actor Bradley Cooper will not only continue to act but will also direct Teacher which will deal with a complex love story that lasted 25 years. We will also see it in Atlantic Wall, an action movie, where a soldier stays behind enemy lines.
