Call Of Duty Warzone Issues More Account Bans, New Anti-Cheat Measures Suggested

Call of Duty Warzone developer Raven Software has issued another 50,000 account bans and has indicated that it is working on some new anti-cheat measures to fix the problem.

This brings the total number of accounts banned since the game’s inception in March 2020 to over 500,000, which is a worrying number when you think about it.

Additionally, Tom Henderson has since claimed that Activision is indeed looking for a new anti-cheat system for Call of Duty.

A new anti-cheat system for the next Call of Duty title has been in development for over a year. The same system will be implemented in Warzone.

Call of Duty Warzone was released in March 2020 for PS4, PC and Xbox One and has since gained support for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. Call of Duty Warzone Season 5 launches this week, featuring a range of new content, including a 50v50 mode and additional operators.
