CD Projekt Red no longer sells games in (Belarus) Russia

CD Projekt Red, like many other companies, has decided not to sell any more products in Belarus and Russia.

After the Russian attack on Ukraine, many Western companies decided to get their people and products from Russia. For example, Shell and BP withdrew, but also Apple.

Now the Polish developer behind games such as the Witcher and Cyberpunk 2077 has also announced that it wants to stand up for Ukraine and has announced in a statement that it will no longer sell products in the countries.

Although the company says this will unfortunately also affect innocent Russians, it hopes that this will help the community stand up to Putin’s actions.

The Polish developer is also the first from the game industry that does not want to continue in Russia. Earlier, the vice president of Ukraine called on Xbox and PlayStation to stop their networks in the country. So far this has not been heeded.
