Cyberpunk 2077 PS4 Disc Issue Fixed

As we recently reported, Cyberpunk 2077’s next-gen upgrade and latest patch have resulted in a host of issues for PlayStation players. One of the most commonly reported issues is the game not launching on the PS4 after applying the patch. CD Projekt RED acknowledged the issue and said it was working on a fix, but it appears the issue was on Sony’s side. On Twitter, the company announced that it will be rolling out a system software update today to address the issue.

CD Projekt RED, for its part, has said it will explore the possibility of letting players carry their trophy data and progress over to the PS5 version. However, the developer has not promised that this will happen. As for save data migration, you can only transfer one save file from PS4 to PS5, so you’re out of luck if you want to transfer multiple saves.
