Deathloop Game Update 1 Adds HDR Calibration and Fixes Trophy Issues

death loop has received its first major game update. With the imaginative title Game Update 1, it adds HDR calibration to the PlayStation 5 version, and fixes issues with unlocking a number of trophies and a rare instance that could cause the game to crash.

The patch, which is about 5 GB in size, also adds a bad connection indicator on the screen, improves the smoothness of the camera, adjusts some of the NPC behavior and adds a number of other gameplay tweaks. You can check out the highlights of the patch below:

  • Fixed laser mines, turrets and fireworks behavior for both Colt and Julianna players
  • Fixed unlocking issue with “Oops” and “Deathday Suit” trophies
  • Fixed an issue that could cause Colt’s progress to be reset even if the player chose ‘no’ on confirmation
  • Fixed crash issue when a player unlocks an achievement with Havoc while playing as Julianna
  • Fixed comments from Aleksis Dorsey making him easier to identify among his partygoers
  • Fixed an issue that sometimes caused kills to falter when playing as Julianna
  • Julianna’s actions no longer directly unlock trophies for Colt
  • Julianna players no longer hear Colt-only radio calls. are meant to be
  • Fixed an issue with inconsistency in lean (input is no longer sporadically ignored)

death loop has received a lot of critical acclaim since its release last month, including receiving the Editor’s Choice award from us. It topped the UK sales charts in its first week of release and was near the top of the PlayStation Store download charts for September. Developed by Arkane Lyon, now owned by Microsoft, death loop is a console exclusive to PlayStation 5 until at least September next year.
