Diablo II: Resurrected players are asking for refunds due to ongoing server issues

Diablo II: Resurrected launched with technical issues, and now three weeks after launch, there are still issues, although their severity seems to have increased as players are constantly grappling with server issues around the world and are now asking for refunds.

The news comes from a new report from the website Kotaku, who notes that this latest set of problems has been going on for six days, and although snow storm No doubt working hard to fix the issue, it hasn’t stopped players from already exploring their refund options, if available.

The Blizzard Customer Support Twitter account has updated players as often as possible, but a quick look at today’s latest tweet stating that they are aware of the issues and are investigating them shows a response from a player who has already requested their refund, and reminds others that they can still do the same.

Cyberpunk 2077 setting a whole new precedent for what can happen if a game launches in a bad state, and although PS5 and PS4 players do not have a direct way to request a refund in the same way that PC players do, there is now a great precedent for refunds on purchases made on Play station.

It is certainly possible that refunds will become available for those who Play station, but since these are server issues and not just that much of the game itself is broken or not working, it probably won’t take that long to fix them, so it’s still unclear how big this problem could be Diablo II: Resurrected.
