Dragon Age Remastered Trilogy Reportedly Not on the Cards

electronic art has no plans to release one Dragon Age Remastered Trilogy in the same vein as Legendary Mass Effect Editionsaid journalist Jeff Grubb.

In GrubbSnax’s latest podcast episode, Grubb claimed that Dragon Age, Dragon Age II, and Dragon Age Inquisition won’t be adapted for modern platforms because they aren’t as closely linked as Mass Effect is narratively.

Grubb also used the podcast to release some details about the upcoming Dragon Age 4, which he says is progressing well and won’t launch in the next 18 months or so, with a late 2023 release as the earliest option.

Dragon Age: Origins launched in 2009 for the PS3, PC, and Xbox 360, with Dragon Age II two years later. Dragon Age Inquisition followed in 2014 for PS4, PS3, PC, Xbox One, and Xbox 360.

BioWare is currently developing Dragon Age 4 for PS5, PC and Xbox Series X/S.
