Dying Light 2 Co-op fixes are coming

Techland has reassured players that fixes for Dying light 2 co-op issues are now prioritized and the studio will update in due course. The game’s subreddit has been inundated with complaints about disconnects in co-op mode and issues redeeming in-game content. The latter is also “at the top” of Techland’s list.

When will the Dying Light 2 co-op issues be resolved?

According to lead designer Tymon Smektala, the decoupling of Dying Light 2 co-op comes from a lot of traffic and it’s something the studio is discussing with Sony, Microsoft and Epic Games. While Techland fixes the root of the problem on its side, Smektala claims that the aforementioned partners should also help unblock servers. There is currently no estimated time of arrival.

Those experiencing flickering issues on the PS5 should switch modes as a temporary solution until a patch is rolled out. Again, there’s no estimated time of arrival, but Smektala said it should show up “soon”. The good news is that there is an easy fix for missing interaction buttons: use the call for help option.

In other news, you can now sign up to receive a pre-order notification for PSVR 2 and beat those pesky scalpers for once, and Santa Monica Studio is looking for an Art Director for an unannounced “large-scale” project.
