Edge of Eternity PS5 and PS4 versions coming in February 2022

Midgar Studio Developed Edge of eternity has a new release date of February 10, 2022 for PlayStation 4 and 5, and Xbox One and Series X/S. A Nintendo Switch release will follow on February 23.

Inspired by JRPGs, Edge of eternity was due to launch in spring 2021 for last-gen consoles, but was pushed when current-gen versions were announced. It finally launched on Steam in June. An update will coincide with the launch of the console, which will add Japanese voiceovers to the game.

In Edge of eternity, the people of Heryon fight a mysterious invader. The conflict escalates, adding a new threat to the battle. The protagonists Daryon and Selene must find a way to save Heryon, taking turns fighting in battle.

The main features include:

Craft your gear and load it with powerful crystals to unlock unique combinations of skills and power-ups.
  • A cast of charismatic characters – Encounter a cast of larger-than-life companions, each with their own unique personalities and attributes. Discover their dreams, flaws, hopes and torments as you experience and share many special moments together.
  • A beautiful world to discover – Travel through the unique and ethereal environments of Heryon and uncover its oldest secrets.
  • A stunning soundtrack from the composer of chrono trigger and Xenoblade Chronicles – Heryon is brought to life by a sublime soundtrack from industry legend and composer of chrono trigger and Xenoblade Chronicles, Yasunori Mitsuda.
