To do so, we got answers to some of our most popular questions from legendary game designer Yoshitaka Murayama.


Eiyuden Chronicles: Rise it is a prologue. How much time is between hundred heroes and Ascendant? Months? Years? decades?
This is a couple of months to a year before the main story begins, and the characters in Growing It will be in the main story of Eiyuden Chronicle.

Rising is set before the war in hundred heroes breaks out Do the characters sense that war is coming? If so, how does it affect them?
There is still not much sense of war as a backbone, but Growing stands as a story that can be enjoyed on its own.

Why make the complementary game, Growinga side-scrolling city-building game with real-time action combat instead of turn-based like hundred heroes?
Unlike the main story. Eiyuden Chronicle: Rise it is a smaller game. Therefore, the production time was limited and we selected a format that would allow players to have fun with it.

What would you say to fans who are worried about the time and resources the team is spending on Rising that could be spent on Hundred Heroes?
Growing is independently planned and produced by Natsume Atari, which is a separate team from the main production team of Eiyuden Chronicle. Please don’t worry, each team is doing what is best for both of them. Growing and the main story.
