Fan theory about the end of Doctor Strange 2 (possible SPOILERS)

The trailer for Doctor Strange 2 has left fans shocked and there is a very interesting theory of how the movie could end.

Thanks to the trailer Doc Strange 2 we have verified that the film will show different versions of very important characters, one that stands out is the Professor X from Patrick Stewart that will be part of the Illuminati. But also, Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olson) will be a fundamental part of the story and could also change the Marvel Studios Cinematic Universe forever, imitating something that already happened in the comics.

Here we leave you the trailer of Doc Strange 2 for you to enjoy once more.

The reddit user ElijahCookOfficial has shared his fan theory about Doc Strange 2 which we leave you below:

The trailer for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness confirms that Patrick Stewart will return as Professor X. It is likely that he will play a variant of the character rather than the exact same version from the FOX movies. But that means the X-Men are Marvel Studios canon thanks to the multiverse. And I don’t think they’re doing that for nothing.

In the comics, there was a very important story called House of M. In it, Scarlet Witch (who is supposed to be the main antagonist of the movie) altered reality to create a perfect life for herself (similar to what we saw in the WandaVision series ). The heroes realized that something was wrong and managed to return reality to normal, but Wanda spoke the phrase: “No more mutants”. This led to much of the mutant population losing their powers.

But… What if Doctor Strange 2 does the opposite?

We could get to see Scarlet Witch visit the X-Men universe and see that there are tons of “special” people like her. This makes her jealous, as she felt like an oddball in her own universe. During or after the film’s final battle, Wanda uses all of her power to bring the X-Men into the main Marvel Studios Cinematic Universe. This causes the FOX universe to be destroyed, and now it’s like mutants have always existed at Marvel Studios. All of the X-Men are completely rebooted and recast. All of them, that is… except one. Scarlet Witch.
