Ubisoft announced the official release date for the upcoming Far Cry 6 Pagan Check DLC, with Far cry 4‘s Pagan Min. Pagan: control will be released on January 11, 2022 for PS4 and PS5, as well as Xbox consoles, PC and Google Stadia. The DLC is also included in the Far Cry 6 Season pass, in addition to the previous one Vase: Insanity and upcoming Joseph: Collapse DLCs.

Pagan: control, like the Vase DLC released in November 2021, will put players in the shoes of Far cry 4‘s main antagonist Pagan Min. Although it will not be connected to the main story of Far Cry 6Pagan’s DLC lets players explore Min’s mind and learn about the villain’s backstory. Like Vase: Insanity, Check will also feature “familiar faces” and provide some sort of catharsis for the character by exploring his guilt and regret.

Judging by the description, fans can expect Pagan: control are similar to the Vaas DLC. In Vase: Insanity, players would start with a gun and find better weapons and powerups as they progressed in his psyche. After the Pagan DLC is Joseph: Collapse, the third and final DLC of the Far Cry 6 Season pass. As the name suggests, the DLC will focus on: Far cry 5‘s Joseph Seed in a similar fashion, and will be out sometime in 2022.
Far Cry 6 and the Season Pass is available immediately for the PS4 and PS5, as well as Xbox consoles, PC and Google Stadia. The Pagan: control DLC will be officially released on January 11, 2022 and requires an existing copy of Far Cry 6 play.
