FIFA 21 Sales See sports title debut at No. 1 in October 2020 NPD

Electronic art ‘ FIFA 21 took off with its arrival on the PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, PC and Xbox One last month. It debuted at number one on the NPD charts, a first for the FIFA series in the United States. In fact, the title landed at the number one spot on both PS4 and Xbox One.

NPD analyst Mat Piscatella commented FIFAs record-breaking sales in the US. in a Twitter thread on the October 2020 results of NPD. Watch Dogs: Legion counts as another new release that debuted high in the charts. The third entry in the franchise landed at number three on the NPD, despite being on the market for only three days in October.

Below are the 20 best-selling titles of October 2020 across all platforms. (As always, it’s worth noting that the chart doesn’t include digital sales for Nintendo published titles.)

As the above chart shows, Spirit of Tsushima remains strong in the top 20. This is no surprise given that it has recently exceeded five million copies sold. Sucker Punch’s latest and The Last of Us Part II do it well the list of bestsellers for 2020 as a wholealso. TLoU Part II is currently at number four, with Spirit of Tsushima on his heels at five o’clock. The top 10 best-selling titles of the year in the United States so far are as follows:

All in all, gaming in the US did incredibly well for October. Total spend on hardware, content and accessories was $ 3.8 billion. According to Piscatellaspending has increased by 14 percent compared to the same period last year. Meanwhile, total expenses for the whole year, so far, $ 37.5 billion. The new consoles and a series of high-profile game releases guarantee that this number will rise dramatically soon.
