The folks at ElAnalistaDeBits have said Final Fantasy 7 Remake on PS4 and PS5 in the spotlight for the latest performance test, and the results are impressive to say the least, with a massive reduction in load times for the acclaimed action RPG refresh on Sony’s new console.
For example, on the PS4, Final Fantasy 7 Remake takes about 41 seconds to load your save file, while on PS5 it takes about two seconds – that’s a huge difference.

Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade is scheduled for release on PS5 on June 10, 2021. If you can’t wait until then, the PS4 version of the game – albeit without the option to upgrade to PS5 – will be available for PS Plus this month.

Square Enix recently revealed that Final Fantasy 7 Remake Part 2 will use the PS5 and DualSense’s hardware much better than Intergrade, although that game does have some improvements.
