A new report from the website Kotaku points to a potential GTA Remaster Trilogy will be released later this fall, including: Grand Theft Auto III, Grand Theft Auto Vice City, and Grand Theft Auto San Andreas.
The report site lists the publication’s own sources, which they claim have had a reliable track record in the past. Kotaku basically confirms that these remasters are in their final stages of development and there’s a chance we’ll get to see them sometime this year.
rock star reportedly makes them on Unreal Engine, with an updated UI and mixed graphics style that does its best to stay true to the originals while also looking better for the modern era.
No details have been shared about the gameplay, so we don’t know what changes have been made. Most importantly, though, these remasters will be available on all platforms, including PS5 and PS4, of rock star hoping they launch alongside the next generation upgrade coming Grand Theft Auto V.
