Here’s a first look at the Cuphead Show, starring Wayne Brady as King Dice


Netflix has offered a first look at The Cuphead Show during the Geeked Week showcase, which will shine Wayne Brady as King Dice.

The short clip is just that, short, but it does show that the charm of the show is superbly captured. The show will focus on the titular Cuphead and his brother Mugman as they go through various adventures, all in an animation style inspired by the 1930s.

This is completely different from the game’s story and is its own character-driven comedic take on the franchise. You can watch the short tease below:

Cuphead came out on PS4 last year after being available on other platforms for years. Just like when it was released on other platforms, the game was critically acclaimed and we loved it too. You can read our review here. A DLC for the game, The Delicious Last Course, is also on the way, although we haven’t heard from it in a while.

The Cuphead Show is slated to release on Netflix.
