It Takes Two wins Game of the Year award

Last night The Game Wards were held. We’ve seen a lot of cool announcements, a lot of great trailers and so again a lot to look forward to. But what it also often revolves around is the big Game of the Year award, which was received this year by It Takes Two.

Yesterday the editors predicted the winners and announcements, but of course we were more wrong than right. As mentioned, many beautiful announcements have been made, but perhaps important are the prizes awarded. It Takes Two, a cooperative adventure game from developer Hazelight, takes off with the main prize of the evening; the Game of the Year award. We also see Kena: A Bridge of Spirits receiving a number of indie awards, Deathloop also scores several awards, and even Resident Evil 4 manages to win again after all this time!
