Knives Out 2 filming has been mind-blowing and terrifying according to cast

Madelyn Cline, one of the new cast members of the Knives Out saga, uncommonly referred to the filming process of the sequel in development.

Knives Out seemed to be one of the jewels that Amazon had in its growing catalog in 2019. However, Netflix’s financial arm did not hesitate to offer a large sum in order to keep the rights to the film. In doing so, the network immediately hired director Rian Johnson to direct not just a sequel but an entire saga.

On the other hand, Daniel Craig was confirmed to return as Detective Benoit Blanc, who in this sequel will solve a different crime. It is for this reason that many of the original actors will not return.

One of the new faces will be the young Madelyn Cline, who will be the modern and outstanding quota this time, as well as the Cuban Ana De Armas in the first.

Clyne described the filming of the next installment, calling it the “most mind-blowing experience” he has had in his career.

“I’m in Europe, and I’m shooting the sequel to Knives Out, and I’m very, very excited about it. I’m going to be completely honest with you, it’s the most mind-blowing and terrifying experience ever. You know how you have moments in life where you just look around, look at life and think, ‘How the hell did I get here?’ I feel very lucky, but I walk on set every day and it feels like a miniature existential crisis, because I’m working with people that I’ve looked up to all my life. And now I’m working alongside them, and they are phenomenal people, but it’s a bit… It’s scary, but it’s also incredible. It is super amazing; it is the experience of my life “, he claimed.

Along with the actress will also be Dave Bautista, Kate hudson, Leslie Odom Jr., Jessica henwick, Janelle monáe, Edward Norton and Kathryn Hahn.

It is worth mentioning that the investment made by the company to obtain the licenses and to be able to develop this next part is around 450 million dollars. In this way, the expectations for Johnson, the staff and the cast are more than normal.

Knives Out 2 will be available next summer.
