While we expected at least a PlayStation 5 upgrade for Death Stranding, Kojima Productions hasn’t made a big announcement.
Yesterday the developer seemed to be teasing something big, but it seems the studio just wanted to celebrate their birthday. In a series Tweets The company shared, among other things, a video showing the hands of some developers. This is of course because four fingers and a thumb is five, but no doubt there will also be an underlying thought. Kojima Productions also showed new merchandise to celebrate this milestone.
However, many fans assumed that a PlayStation 5 version of Death Stranding would be announced during this celebration. Although the game is already playable on the new console from Sony, it would of course also be cool if it also supported some features of this console.
In addition, Kojima Productions also paid no attention to the second project where the company is working. We’re pretty sure it’s going to be a horror game, but unfortunately we’ll have to wait even longer for it to be announced.
Kojima Productions was founded in 2015 with the help of Sony Interactive Entertainment. Until recently, the studio worked on the Metal Gear Series for Konami. Unfortunately, a fight between these parties caused Kojima Productions to continue as an independent studio.
Death Stranding was Kojima Productions’ first game and was well received. This game has also been available on PC since the summer.
