LEGO Star Wars: Skywalker Saga launches April 5

Warner Bros has provided LEGO Star Wars: Skywalker Saga with a release date. The game containing all the adventures of the Star Wars films will be released on April 5.

In LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, players will experience combat like never before in a LEGO game: different attacks can be linked together to form a combo series and fend off counter-attacks. New shooting controls and mechanics allow you to aim accurately and take shelter to plan your next move, or apply the skills of a Jedi by wielding a lightsaber and harnessing the power of the Force.

Travel through space with the sky map on your holo projector to chart your course through the saga, gradually unlocking planets to explore along the way. During the space travels, you can engage in heroic dogfights against enemy ships, pilot legendary vehicles such as the Millennium Falcon™, Imperial TIE fighters™, rebellious X-wings™, and more. Once at your destination, you can choose whether to continue the main story or explore challenging missions and puzzles across the galaxy.

Exploration yields rewards: Discover Kyber Stones that unlock new features and enhanced abilities for a range of character classes, including Jedi, Hero, Dark Side, Villain, Beachcomber, Scavenger, Bounty Hunter, Astromech Droid, and Protocol Droid. Play as legendary characters such as Leia™, Yoda™, Boba Fett™, Darth Maul™, Poe™ and over 300 unlockable characters from all nine films in free play mode to create fun new adventures. From the idyllic grassy hills of Naboo to the sand dunes of Jakku; you can go on an adventure across the LEGO Star Wars galaxy.

The trailer also reveals a new feature in LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga: The Mumble Mode. It allows fans of the classic LEGO Star Wars games to replace all voices with murmurs!

LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is now available for digital pre-order. Customers who pre-order the game digitally will receive early access to the Trooper character pack on release day. The pack will be available to players who purchase the Character Collection (a season pass containing the seven character packs) one month after launch, but will also be available separately. Digital buyers can also unlock the classic playable character Obi-Wan Kenobi™, which is not available separately. The physical version of the Deluxe Edition includes an exclusive LEGO Star Wars minifigure: Luke Skywalker with blue milk.
