Lenovo’s Transformer-esque Legion Duel 2 has some pretty impressive specs – Critical Hit

The design of Lenovo’s new Legion gaming phone leaked last week and now the company has decided to reveal more information behind the device that may or may not be a transformer in disguise. As it turns out, there’s more to the Legion Phone Duel 2 than meets the eye, as it’s more than just an interesting design with a bulky camera in the middle.

The device appears to be a gaming phone in every way meaning it is packed with power as reported by The edgeIt’s worth noting that the phone is actually quite a big beast as it has a massive 6.92in screen that houses not one, but two batteries. There are also two USB-C ports, two real spinning fans, and the camera bump in the center includes a hidden extractor fan that matches the visible intake fan. And to make sure that gamers spend most of their time holding it horizontally for that gaming experience, it comes with a pop-up camera on the side.

Perhaps most impressive of all, it features the latest Snapdragon 888 processor, up to 18 GB LPDDR5 RAM, and up to 512 GB UFS3.1 storage. With that power, I’m starting to think it must be a transformer because otherwise why would you need so much power to just play games on a phone?

The screen itself can hit resolutions of 2,460 x 1,080 at a 144Hz high refresh rate on the OLED display, with a brightness of 800 nits (1300 nits maximum) to ensure you can still see what’s on your screen and not before. yours if you are on a sunny day.

As for the cameras, the Duel 2’s pop-up selfie camera has a 44-megapixel lens for serious, high-quality streaming, while on the back is a 64-megapixel main camera, as well as a 16-megapixel ultra-wide lens. And thanks to the two USB-C ports, the phone can be charged and connected to an additional adapter to play on a larger screen. Considering it’s more powerful than a next-gen console, you might as well do that.

Lenovo claims their device is capable of up to 8 hours of “intermittent gameplay”. Although I could imagine that if you have a phone like this you want to do a lot more than play the occasional game, and so I wouldn’t be able to last long before this device needs to be recharged.

At around $ 1200 for the higher spec models, it certainly isn’t cheap, but it’s not as expensive as you’d expect either. However, it is not one thing, it is built with high quality parts, if this YouTube video of it has been painfully broken with relative ease then there is something to be overlooked.

It’s not easy to see all that money go up in smoke. Although I would expect if you were actually making money for a device like this you would treat it with more care and possibly even make sure it has a special place to tuck into your pillow while you sleep peacefully next to you.
