LittleBigPlanet servers removed after hackers incite hatred

Sony has it Small big planet servers after hackers use exploits to deliver transphobic messages into the game. The messages reportedly began appearing on May 21, 2021, as some players were forced to “ heart ” other players’ levels through the use of scripts.

These scripts can cause players to automatically “heart” the levels of other players without permission, and even crash the game.

This is not the first time either. A few months ago, Sony was forced to take down the servers after hackers found a way to quickly create and publish levels in the game, causing the servers to crash. This was temporarily fixed in April before the servers shut down intermittently to test new security measures. However, From LittleBigPlanet PS Vita servers have remained offline since the March incident with no confirmation of their status.

Even before that, the game had numerous security vulnerabilities related to script exploits. Many fans have spoken out on Twitter using the hashtag “#SaveLBP” to raise awareness of the game’s problems. The game’s modding community also has called on Sony to blacklist scripts in the game. These problems have an impact LittleBigPlanet 1, 2, and 3, and without the ability to go online, much of the draw for these games is now gone.
