The Venom symbiote is about to arrive at the Marvel Studios UCM. The studio is already preparing his arrival after the success of Spider-Man: No Way Home.
In the post-credits scene of Venom: There Will Be Carnage, Eddie Brock (Tom Hardy) was transferred to Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). As expected, the symbiote was immediately interested in a television news report that warned about the spider-man from Tom Holland.
Something similar happened with Spider-Man: No Way Home, but vice versa. We saw Eddie Brock returning to his universe, but leaving behind a bit of the Venom symbiote. So the stage is set for the peter parker of the MCU ends up transforming with his wonderful dark suit. In fact, the writers Erik Sommers and Chris Mckenna mentioned this possibility in a recent interview with IGN FanFest.
They do not close the door to see the symbiote in the future. It’s coming!
«We have left the door open to a lot of possibilitiesSommers explained about it. «It’s not just seeing Eddie Brock return to his universe and not have any symbiotes. This opens up a world of exciting possibilities in the future.«. So it looks like they’re paving the way for something very epic in a few years.
As for whether there is now a future to see Venom in the MCU, the writer of Marvel Studios it was clear to him. «I have no ideaMcKenna replied. «That is above our level. We are part of a very large universe, we are only mortals walking among gods«. They also added that they thought it was funny that Eddie Brock spent the entire movie Spider-Man: No Way Home getting drunk in a bar, instead of going to New York and fighting the Spiderman.
Most likely, Marvel Studios will point Tom Holland down that path. There’s still a lot to go Spider-Man 4, if it ever happens. But every time we have more clear that the symbiote Poison is going to be dropped by the MCU. And we are going to enjoy it a lot!
