Mass Effect Legendary Edition PS4 update 1.03 adds bug fixes to all three games

BioWare has unleashed the Mass Effect Legendary Edition Update 1.03 Patch Notes for you to digest, which is now available for PS4, PC and Xbox One versions of the collection. This latest update includes a host of bug fixes and improvements for all three Mass Effect titles.

General

English spoken dialogue can now be selected separately from the subtitle language

Fixed issues with unlocking some achievements/trophies such as the Paramours or kill counters

Corrected pre-rendered cutscenes that were darker than intended after the previous update

Wireless headsets/devices no longer cause problems with the Xbox launcher

Improved PC performance for various hardware configurations, including on Virmire

Fixed an issue on PC where non-default characters in the OS username prevented the game from launching

Removed dependency on the AVX instruction set in the launcher

Other minor calibrations and repairs, including some crashes

Mass effect

Fixed an issue that prevented players from reaching the maximum level

Fixed an issue where tier VII Specter – Master Gear was inaccessible

Various collision improvements

Fixed an issue that prevented the ability to interact with objects

Reduced audio volume on Mass Relay loading screens

Improved eye animations for male characters in some scenes

Mass Effect 2

The intensity of the fog on Illium toned down

Fixed an issue where a character’s eyes were inadvertently red at the end of the Overlord DLC

The maximum amount of credits that can be transferred from Mass Effect to Mass Effect 2 has been reduced to 100k for more balanced early game progression

The maximum credit transfer now corresponds to the transfer of the original release

Mass effect 3

Fixed an issue where the English dialogue would no longer play during the Citadel DLC for German and Italian localizations

Fixed an issue where some key characters were not appearing as intended during the Citadel DLC
