Multiplayer FPS LEAP announced for PS5 and PS4

Blue Isle Studios brings their fast-paced multiplayer FPS JUMP to PS5 and PS4. Up to 60 players become LEAP mercenaries when they choose an exosuit and engage in combat that combines first person shooting with aerial combat. The latter features a variety of weird and wonderful vehicles, including motorized rubber rings.

How crazy does LEAP get?

Players can choose from four different mercenary exosuit classes, each with its own weapons, skills and balance of strength, agility and defense. With orbital strikes, automated turrets and guided cruise missiles just some of the capabilities on offer, they have the power to turn the tide of battle. Players also get jetpacks, grappling hooks, and a personal vehicle to quickly travel across the large-scale Thunder Valley map, be it by hoverboard, rubber ring, or mechanical moose.

Two factions vie for the attention of the mercenaries – the United Earth Defense Coalition and the Exo-Terrans – but it’s the one who pays the most that will get their attention. There is even more money to be made with great contract bonuses, while plenty of other rewards are on offer. Mercenaries can be customized with helmet emojis and various skins for exosuits, vehicles, and weapons.

While Blue Isle Studios has announced the game only for PC, PlayStation has revealed that it will also be coming to PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 via a teaser trailer. There’s no release window yet, though the game will enter closed beta on PC next week. Look:
