The next major expansion for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, Dawn of Ragnarök, will be available on March 10, 2022.
In addition, Ubisoft is introducing Assassin’s Creed Crossover Stories: two stories about Eivor and Kassandra available starting tomorrow, December 14.
In Dawn of Ragnarök, Eivor must embrace fate as Odin, the Norse God of battle and wisdom. The dwarf kingdom of Svartalfheim is crumbling and amid the chaos, Odin’s beloved son Baldr has been captured by the undefeatable fire giant Surtr. In this expansion, players will discover new divine powers as they continue their legendary Viking saga by embarking on a desperate rescue mission in a mythological world full of contradictions.
All players who purchase Dawn of Ragnarök between December 13, 2021 and April 9, 2022 will receive the Twilight Pack and get instant access to the main game. This exclusive bonus includes the Dellingr’s Envoy Raven skin, the Havardr Lynx Mount, the Twilight Gear set and the Algurnir Dane Ax weapon.
Also, Ubisoft introduces the Assassin’s Creed Crossover Stories, the first cross-game project in the franchise, led by Ubisoft Quebec in close collaboration with Ubisoft Montreal. The content focuses on answering the question “What happens when two Assassin’s Creed heroes meet?”, exploring the connections in space and time between these Assassin’s Creed heroes to provide players with a unique narrative experience.
The Assassin’s Creed Crossover Stories will be available for free to owners of the respective base games starting tomorrow, December 14; one story is available in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla and one story is available in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. These stories explore the bonds between the heroes from the two games, with new environments to explore and a rich storyline. The Assassin’s Creed Valhalla story, A Fated Encounter, requires players to reach settlement level 4 and complete the storyline “A Wise Friend” in which Eivor helps Valka settle in Ravensthorpe. The Assassin’s Creed Odyssey story Those Who Are Treasured requires players to complete Chapter 1 and reach Megaris to access the content. It is also recommended that you complete the main game’s three storylines (Family, Cult of Kosmos and Mythology) to avoid spoilers.
