New Uncharted Movie Trailer Looks Promising

Mark “Sully” Wahlberg’s mustache has made countless headlines since the not mapped the second trailer for the movie went live yesterday, but we’re here to point out that the rest of the trailer looks pretty promising too.

It feels a bit surreal to say that Sony Pictures Entertainment has released a new trailer for not mapped, which many of us thought would never see the light of day. Centuries in the making, the film went through numerous production challenges and personnel changes, but rest assured, Nathan Drake actor Tom Holland doesn’t seem to be in the mood for rest and the film is looking good for a February 18, 2022 release.

Be sure to check out the trailer below.

not mapped revolves around a young Nathan Drake who teams up with Victor Sullivan to recover a 500-year-old treasure. The quest takes the duo on a world tour, but unfortunately for them, a powerful dude named Moncada (played by the talented Antonio Banderas) thinks he is the rightful heir and tries to take down Drake and Sullivan.

An official overview reads:

The shrewd thief Nathan Drake (Tom Holland) is recruited by the seasoned treasure hunter Victor “Sully” Sullivan (Mark Wahlberg) to recover a fortune that Ferdinand Magellan lost 500 years ago. What begins as a heist for the duo turns into a global, blood-curdling race for the prize for the ruthless Moncada (Antonio Banderas), who believes he and his family are the rightful heirs. If Nate and Sully can decipher the clues and solve one of the world’s oldest mysteries, they can find $5 billion in treasure and maybe even Nate’s long-lost brother… but only if they can learn to work together.

not mappedNaughty Dog’s executive producers include Neil Druckmann and Evan Wells of Naughty Dog.
