Open world survival horror game that announced our injustice

Independent developer Delusional Studio has announced: wronged us, an open world survival horror game for unspecified consoles and PC. The game is still in its early stages and is expected to be released in 2023.

wronged us is a cinematic, story-driven experience in which players will explore a “detailed” abandoned town. The game features psychological horror, puzzles and battles with monsters. According to an official description, players can freely explore the city and interact with various non-playable characters.

wronged us is made by a solo developer, who is looking for a team to complete the project. You can see what it looks like in its “very” early stage in the video below.

“The trailer is made from different versions of the game,” explains Delusional Studio. “As mentioned, it’s still very early in development, so things like character models and environments are placeholders for now and will look much better later on.”

“Open world and NPC quest design is inspired by dark souls‘, Delusional Studio wrote on its website. “You don’t have a UI telling you where to go whether you’ve started a side quest, finished it, or failed. Story, setting and atmosphere are inspired by Silent Hill. Gameplay and gameplay mechanics are inspired by Resident Evil.”

wronged us was originally slated for release in 2022, but due to a change in the scope of the game, Delusional Studio plans to hire more people and finalize it in 2023. It’s been in development for a year and a half and is currently undergoing “many redesigns,” according to a FAQ posted on the official website.
