PlayStation Plus February 2022 Games Announced

For the first time in several months, Sony has managed to announce the PS Plus games for the next month without being leaked beforehand. The PlayStation Plus games for February 2022 are Planet Coaster: Console Edition on PS5, as well as EA Sports UFC 4 and Tiny Tina’s Attack on Dragon Keep: A Wonderlands One-shot Adventure for PS4. These new games will go live on Tuesday, February 1.

Three upcoming PS Plus titles

Planet Coaster: Console Edition instructs players to build and manage their own theme park. Players can build their ideal park from more than 700 ready-made objects, such as concessions, sets and of course the attractions themselves. The park must then be managed to ensure visitors are entertained and profits are healthy. Players can also share their creations with others and maybe even gain followers. This PlayStation Plus freebie is only available on PlayStation 5; the PlayStation 4 version is not offered as part of the PS Plus Instant Games Collection.

EA Sports UFC 4 is the latest in EA’s mixed martial arts series and features enhanced stand-up gameplay, takedowns, and ground mechanics. Career Mode tracks a player’s progress from an unknown amateur fighter to the next UFC superstar, while online modes like Blitz Battles and Online World Championships mean they can test their mettle against stronger opponents. Progress is tracked in each mode.

Finally, Tiny Tina’s Attack on Dragon Keep: A Wonderlands One-shot Adventure was previously a DLC for Border areas 2 but is now also a standalone adventure. Tiny Tina’s take on Dungeons and Dragons is called “Bunkers and Badasses” and it sends four vault hunters on a fantasy adventure through castles, dungeons and magical forests. The difference is that the adventure can turn at the whim of its dungeon master. This standalone aims to prepare players for the upcoming release of Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands in March, but the bad news is that the game will only be available via PS Plus on PlayStation 4, not PlayStation 5.

For now, Deep Rock Galactic, DiRT 5, and Persona 5 Strikers current PlayStation Plus titles will be available for download until January 31st. Once claimed, all games will remain in your library as long as you remain a PlayStation Plus subscriber.

In other news, Crytek revealed that they are in the early stages of development crysis 4, where players can be a hero on a new nano battlefield. Elsewhere, the latest in the Activision and Duty saga suggests the following three Duty games will be on PlayStation consoles, but the franchise’s future after that is “blurred.”
