PS5 DualSense support added to Nvidia Shield TV in new update

The latest Nvidia Shield TV update has added support for Sony‘s PS5 DualSense controller and Xbox Series X gamepad.

Those of you who own a Shield TV or Shield TV Pro can grab the latest update and link the new PS5 or Xbox Series X pad controls to the device so they can play your Android or PC games through Nvidia’s GeForce Now streaming service.

If you’re reading this, chances are you want to know how to pair a PS5 DualSense controller, right? Well, it is quite simple. Go to the Shield TV’s Bluetooth option and press and hold the PlayStation button on the DualSense until it pulses blue. That is it! For Xbox Series X / S controllers, press and hold the pairing button until the Xbox icon starts flashing.

The PS5 DualSense controller is a nice package, with a wealth of new features over the DualShock 4, including haptic feedback and adaptive triggers.
