Ratchet and Clank Rift Apart Museum Easter Egg yet to be found

Developer Insomniac has teased that there’s one last Easter Egg to be found in Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart and many assume it is the Insomniac Museum Easter Egg that has appeared in many of the previous ones Ratchet & Clank spell. Sony hinted in a TikTok video that the egg is hidden somewhere in Zurkie’s Gastropub and this has put fans of the game on a treasure hunt that has yet to be solved.

What is the Ratchet & Clank Insomniac Museum?

The Insomniac Museum is a secret location within the Ratchet & Clank spell. The museum usually looks like an office filled with interactive objects that provide background information about the game as well as behind-the-scenes secrets such as unfinished levels, content dropped from the game, and even a look at developer tools. Many assumed there was no museum tear apart, but the teaser seems to suggest that players just haven’t found it yet.

A short six-second teaser that focused on Zurkie’s Gastropub was originally posted to TikTok by PlayStation, but was later removed for unknown reasons. As such, Insomniac also deleted their Tweet which read “There is still an Easter egg to discover #RatchetPS5. Are you one of the first to find it? Checking out @Play station‘s latest TikTok for a hint!” Fortunately, other fans like Twitter user @AGPS3 archived the video so you can still take a look:

Insomniac Museums are usually very hard to find. Admission to the museums in Command go and Improve your arsenal requires players to find the majority (or all) of the game’s collectibles or be in a certain location at a certain time to access a teleporter. A tear in time players task to find all collectibles and finish the game, while the 2016 Ratchet and Clank reboot gives players access to the museum in Challenge Mode. As the tear apart museum also requires very specific actions, only the most persistent players will unlock its secret.

In other news, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 will reportedly be released earlier than usual due to poor sales of Call of Duty: Vanguard. Elsewhere, Dying light 2 will not have cross-play at launch, although this may change after the game is released.
