Respawn Entertainment Sends Mixed Messages About Titanfall 3

Fall of the Titans fans have been speculating about the future of the series ever since Titanfall 2 released. More recently, it was revealed that only “one or two” people are left at work Titanfall 2 after fans complained about major server issues, leaving them wondering if Titanfall 3 will ever see the light of day. Respawn Entertainment itself doesn’t seem to know what the future holds.

On a recent stream, Respawn Entertainment’s Community Coordinator Jason Garza slapped fans by stating that “there’s nothing” and they shouldn’t have hopes for Fall of the Titans because the studio is working on “too many other games”.

“Have no hope, man,” Garza said. “I’ve said this before, we just don’t have anything in the works. There’s nothing there. We have too many other games in the works right now.”

As soon as Garza’s comments were picked up by the media, Respawn Entertainment’s social media team sprang into action.

“Contrary to what some people report, Fall of the Titans is at the heart of our DNA,” reads a tweet. “Who knows what the future will bring…”

Publisher Electronic Arts probably knows what the future has in store Fall of the Titans more than Respawn Entertainment does. Worth noting that Titanfall 2EA’s sales fell below EA’s expectations, which was partly due to the release being sandwiched between the two Battlefield 1 and Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare.

Be that as it may, given the time it takes to complete games and the “too many” projects Respawn Entertainment is apparently attached to, it’s highly unlikely we’ll see a new one. Fall of the Titans soon.
