A new champion named Zeri makes her official entrance into League of Legends today. She has a special connection to electricity and hails from the depths of Zaun, a district of Runeterra that is detailed in the hit series Arcane. Zeri is an exceptionally fast and powerful marksman thanks to an unusual strength.
Zeri has the following abilities:
• Passive Ability – Living Battery
Zeri gains more Movement Speed every time she gets a shield. When she damages an enemy shield, she absorbs that shield’s energy to protect herself.
• Q – Burst Fire
Passive: Zeri’s base attack does magic damage, scales with AP, and is considered an ability. Moving and using Burst Fire stores energy in Zeri’s Sparkpack. When fully charged, her next base attack does bonus damage and slows down the enemy.
Active: Burst Fire fires a salvo of seven bullets that deal physical damage to the first enemy hit. Burst Fire scales with AD and is perceived as an attack, with the first bullet applying on-hit effects. The cooldown corresponds to the timer of Zeri’s base attack.
• W – Ultrashock Laser
Zeri fires an electrical pulse. The first enemy this hits takes damage and is slowed down. When the pulse hits a wall, it fires a laser from the point of impact.
• E – Spark Surge
Zeri dashes a short distance, generating more energy for the next three casts of her Burst Fire. This makes the casts go straight through enemies. She jumps over any terrain she dashes into, depending on the angle. Hitting a champion with an attack or ability reduces Spark Surge’s cooldown.
• R – Lightning Crash
Zeri shoots electricity that damages nearby enemies and overcharges itself for a short duration. In this state, Zeri deals more damage and has a higher attack and movement speed. Also, Burst Fire’s damage is concentrated in a faster triple-shot that strikes multiple enemies at once with lightning. When Zeri attacks enemy champions, she gains even more Movement Speed and the duration of her overcharged status is renewed.
