Second Expansion for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, The Siege of Paris, Available August 12

The second expansion for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, The Siege of Paris, will be available on August 12.

In addition, the third free season, Sigrblot Season, includes new exclusive rewards and activities. The Sigrblot Festival will be live from Thursday July 29th and will run through August 19th.

Set in Francia, The Siege of Paris takes Eivor on a perilous path full of harrowing missions through the Frankish countryside, en route to one of the most infamous conquest battles in Viking history. To take on new types of enemies, players gain new weapons, abilities, equipment and skills. The Siege of Paris also introduces the return of infiltration missions, based on the well-known Black Box missions. Infiltration missions give players the freedom to choose the best way for them to eliminate their designated target. The Siege of Paris is available to all Season Pass owners or sold separately to all owners of the game.

Starting Thursday, July 29, players will be celebrating summer at the temporary Sigrblot Festival, a traditional Viking festival to celebrate the start of the Raiding season. There are several festivities in the Ravensthorpe settlement around the traditional bonfire through August 19, including:
• Flying, fighting tournament and dice mini-games.
• Three new missions.
• Exclusive rewards, including settlement decorations, customization items and weapons. The one-handed sword Skofnung is also available with Sigrblot tokens in the festival shop for a limited time.

To experience the Sigrblot Festival, players must reach England, complete one of the first storylines – Grantebridgescire or Ledecestrescire – and have their settlement reach level 2.
Another update is planned for later this season and will bring with it an all-new River Raids map pack, with destinations scattered along the rivers of Francia and Ireland.
