Solar axis release delayed from October to December

Annapurna Interactive and Heart Machine have announced the release of solar axis from October 26 to December 2. The stylish 3D action platformer is in development for the PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and PC.

solar axis was first announced in 2019 as Solar Ash Kingdom. Heart Machine has said it will take more time to polish the game, citing the pandemic as one of the reasons for the delay.

A joint statement from Annapurna Interactive and Heart Machine reads:

Heart Machine and Annapurna Interactive have decided to delay the release of Solar Ash until December 2, 2021. We want Solar Ash to shine, and we need a little more time to get the last bits of shine and bug fixes in the game, while we are still navigating this global pandemic as a very dedicated team. This short delay will help us get there. Thank you for your understanding and we’ll see you soon in the Ultravoid.

For those who don’t follow it yet solar axis, the game is brought to you by the people behind the award-winning 2016 game, Hyper Light Drifter. Not much of a description is available, but here’s what Annapurna Interactive has to say about the title:
