Following the PlayStation Showcase, Insomniac Games said it is delighted to be partnering with Todd alongside returning actors Yuri Lowenthal and Nadji Jeter, who will both reprise their roles in Spider Man 2.
“We are so pleased to announce that Tony Todd (Candyman fame) will be voicing the symbiote-fueled Venom in Marvel’s Spider Man 2‘ wrote Insomniac Games on the PlayStation Blog. “We have been fortunate enough to work with so many incredibly talented actors in our Spider Man games, and Tony has been such a great addition to the cast.”
That’s what Insomniac Games promised Spider Man 2 will “push” the capabilities of the PlayStation 5 and will feature all-new stories for Peter and Miles.
“Just like in our previous Spider Man games, we want to not only tell a great Super Hero story, but also deliver a compelling human story, a story full of heart and humor that delves deep into the people behind the mask,” the studio said. “A lot of the development team that brought you Marvel’s Spider-Man returns to produce Marvel’s Spider Man 2including Bryan Intihar (creative director) and Ryan Smith (game director).”
Insomniac Games is also working on Marvel’s Wolverine. Both Spider Man 2 and Wolverine have yet to be dated.
