With the secrecy surrounding Marvel Studios productions like Spider-Man: No way home, its actors are forced to lie constantly, including Tom Holland
Tom Holland is known as one of the worst members of the MCU family when it comes to keeping secrets, but with Spider-Man: No Way Home, seems to have held the guy. He hasn’t shared any important information yet, but keeping those secrets has weighed heavily on him. While talking to Yahoo Movies UKHolland said he was sick of having to hide the truth from his friends and fans.
“We are quite tired of constantly lying and fooling people. I feel my conscience weighing on me now. It’s hard”Holland said. “The initial plan was to make the movie look like a Civil War between Doctor Strange and me and they were going to keep everything a secret”he continued. “That’s impossible”.
During that same interview, Holland talked about working alongside actors like Willem Dafoe, Jamie Foxx, and Alfred Molina, who reprise their roles from previous Spider-Man franchises.
“For me too, I would be doing scenes with these actors and fighting with them or just working with them and they would say ‘cut’ and I would have a moment like when you are almost out of your body looking at yourself. This is crazy. It was wild. The fight scene I had with Willem was just mind blowing. I’m very lucky. I have a certain lens that only I can see. I’m a huge fan of both franchises, but I can also play Spider-Man in my franchise. So I have a lens and a memory of the first time I fought with Willem which is insane. It’s crazy ».
No Way Home trailers have confirmed the appearance of several villains from previous Spider-Man movies, but there are still plenty of rumors about the other Spider-Man. The first reviews that have appeared are free of spoilers, so we will have to wait to find out about the premiere of the film on December 16.
