Hidetaka ‘Swery’ Suehiro’s latest title, The good life, is slated to release on PS4, PC, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox One on October 15, 2021, developer White Owls has announced.
The Good Life has been around for a while and originally tried to get off the ground through crowdfunding website Fig. However, the game failed to reach its ambitious goal of $1.5 million, so Swery switched to Kickstarter, lowered the funding target, and the project received ample support in May 2018.

Despite this, The Good Life has been postponed several times; it was originally slated to be released in 2019, before being delayed for a year and then again to 2021. It now also has a new publisher, Playism.
The Good Life is set to release on October 15, 2021 for PS4, PC, Switch and Xbox One, and will also be fully playable on PS5 via backwards compatibility.
