After Techland recognized fans call for a PS5 update during the summer, we finally have some confirmation that it is indeed being worked on. Responding to a tweet from a fan asking for a 60 FPS boost on PS5, the developer responded via the Dying light 2 official account says one is in the works, and we’ll know more in the near future.
This is exciting news for Extinguishing light fans, who recently discovered they’d be waiting longer than they originally thought Dying light 2, so since that’s been delayed, it wouldn’t take too long to say that this update should come sooner Dying Light 2s launch, almost as a way to satisfy players’ appetites.
While this is confirmation that an update is in the works, it does not confirm what will be included in the update. The tweet that the developers replied to others mentions things like 60 FPS and 4K resolution, which is probably exactly what the update is. Though to be on the safe side, it’s best to bet it’s running at least 60 FPS PS5.
