Uncharted Movie Director Excited About Remaking Uncharted 4’s Car Chase Series In A Possible Sequel

Ruben Flesicher, the director behind the Tom Holland-fronted Uncharted moviehas revealed that he would like to have a stabbing in the chase scene of Uncharted 4: A Thief’s Endshould the film have a sequel.

Speaking in a roundtable with Naughty Dog big cheese Neil Druckmann, Fleischer described the sequence, in which Drake is dragged by a rope through a muddy road between highlights, is “the greatest chase ever in all” and is “unparalleled”.

If we’re lucky enough to make another one of these, I’d like to recreate the chase. I think the biggest chase ever in anything is in [Uncharted 4]† I’ve done a lot of chases in my career, but that chase is second to none.

Holland also joined in and seems to be a fan of the series as well:

I remember playing that game when we were doing Spider-Man: Homecoming and they said, ‘We’re ready for you on set’ and I said, ‘No, I’m doing this chase, leave us alone.’
